Profile

Karen has been teaching Speech and Drama for the past 18 years, running her own school and also teaching students privately on an individual and small group basis. Karen also works on a freelance basis delivering Drama workshops through the community, Donegal, Northern Ireland and Dublin. Her work includes facilitating workshops with Youth Theatre Groups, Transition Year Students, Post Primary Students, Third Level Students, Women’s Groups, (In service days for Early Years Educators and is a member of The Institute of Drama and communication Teachers (IDAC).

Qualifications

• Diploma of Licentiate, Irish Board of Speech & Drama LIBSD
• Diploma of Associate, Irish Board of Speech & Drama AIBSD
• JEB Teacher’s Diploma in Education Practice – ICT Skills
• Diploma in Training & Education NUI Galway
